Random freezes/Restarts and freezing at bios splash

For sometime now my computer either freezes (With a buzzing sound from my headphones) or just restarts. When it does restart it loads to bios and either freezes at the bios screen or starts windows then goes back to the bios screen and freezes. It only boots 1 in 10 times. For some reason it only turns off/restarts when im not using it. Thanks for any help

Hi there Ralphii,

Unfortunately, there is a chance that there is something wrong with either your PSU or MOBO(more likely).

One thing you can try is to try running your system with just a single RAM stick. In case the issue persists, you can try the other one. That way you will rule out a possible faulty RAM stick issue.
Another thing you can do is to run some stress testing. In case nothing happens during the stress testing(heavy load) then I believe your PSU could be just fine.
I believe it will not hurt to contact the MOBO's manufacturer.
