Good day to you all.So after a storm a thunder hit my electricity pillar. It burned my PC monitor,my TV and my router.I managed to get a new router from my company. After I finally installed my old CRT and got back on my computer the Internet just didn't want to work anymore. I reinstalled windows and still the problem persists.I got new drivers and I get this error every time it's almost finished I get "the realtek network controller was not found if deep sleep mode is enabled". Also in Device Manager there are is no Network Adapters. Also there is no Local Area Connection ( it appeared now just because I use my USB from my Android as internet ) . The Cable is plugged . I even tested with a neighbor's laptop to see if maybe the cable is malfunctioning and it works like a charm. I took out the cables, all of them,I even got the RAM out, as someone suggestioned . No difference. I even looked on BIOS too see if there is any ''NIC'' dislabled/enable . I couldn't find it even on the motherboards manual ( the serial number is GA-MA770-UD3 ) . Please can someone help me? I looked anywhere and didn't find any solution. I am kind of desperate, I looked for an answer the entire day and still found nothing. Could it be my motherboard? I hope not because I have to burn money on a lot of things anyway..Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it. Also I am sorry for my english,it's not my first language :D .

Solution
If the router was hit, then the LAN controller most likely was damaged; you're lucky the rest of the motherboard still works. You could add a PCI or a PCIe network controller.

Well, thank you very much for the answer.I was thinking that maybe is the motherboard.. That was my biggest fear, well it's better than my whole motherboard. I will go tomorrow and buy a network controller, see if it works.

EDIT: Yeah, I bought a new PCI network controller and it worked like a charm,no drivers nothing.Thank you for the solution.
