Title pretty much says it looking for a new Micro atxmotherboard
Here's what I need. any help would be great thanks

Required

3 case fan slots + cpu slot
8pin cpu power slot
4 ddr4 slots
6 USB 2/3 in I/O ports
Under £70

Optional

2 pcie slots for GPU
Sidewards SATA port as cable is hooked

Solution
1| You don't necessarily need an 8 pin connector to deliver that much power to the CPU socket simply because you can't overclock on it.
2| The number of fan header's you're looking for will cause you to shell out more for the board merely with the addage of the gamer's tag.
3| You may have better luck in finding what you're looking for in this shortlist.

Scan.co.uk stock some good stuff but their search tool isn't very helpful. Might I ask why the tall order for unnecessary feature sets? You can easily run multiple fans off one header if you went with a fan hub like the one made by Swiftech. Multi GPU isn't the best route to go when on the H170 chipset as it's more of an HTPC grade, single GPU load out board.

You're welcome and thank you for selecting my post as the Best Answer but did it really help you out? I think you clicked on it by mistake, if so, I'd be glad to remove it ;)

You should invest on the Z170 platform for future upgrade options.

Yes actually it did help me out as is got me out of my stupid need for added features that dont help and led me to my decision to wait until after Christmas (and amd zen) before buying a new motherboard for wither Intel or amd. As i do have a self imposed budget I probably won't be going for z170 because I do not believe that I will end up doing much OC on any processor I get. Thanks for the reply

You're welcome!

That's actually a good idea since you will have a couple of more options to go around when shopping. By then you could also see some prices of parts like SSD's, ram and storage drop. There is also a possibility that Kabylake will come out so even if you can drop in a Skylake successor processor into an LGA1151 series the latter chipset revisions may introduce newer features.

As added information before you leave, try and read through this thread and post a followup when you feel the time and budget is to your liking; i.e opening a new thread when you feel Zen is or isn't for you.

If this thread is solved, I'd like to close it, provided you have no further queries.
