Hey community, got a dilemma.

I have a custom build pc, running an A10-5800k quad-core cpu. Im using an H110 cooler for its cooling. I have 16GB (4x4) of Corsair XMS 3 DDR3 1333MHZ memory installed. PSU is a Corsair CS750M, Mobo is an Asus A88X-Pro....using the on-board video. I have this thing running for like 2 weeks now and only experienced sudden shutdown. The first time i solved that problem and found out it was chassis fan wires i got crossed-up. Rewired properly and rebooted and ran fine....til about 15 before posting here...it shutdown again. Im not over-clocking because i went into the bios and made energy-save changes after the first incident. So right now, my brain is frazzled as to what the problem can be. I know its not a memory issue...i ruled that out. There 2 switches on the board that im not so sure i should switch on or leave alone. TDP/UDP. Even when i look in the manual, im still puzzled as to what they do. Somebody save me.

If your cpu goes well, then your major problem isn't only heat. As stated above, PSU also the common parts that can cause several problem. My current psu also seems falling apart since i see performance drop over-time, i've used it for last 3 years. You might consider to buy a new psu, at least bronze certified might perform well :D
And remember, PSU is your pc's heart, whenever it brokes, an overall pc also goes down.

@vetsku, i have had the psu for almost 2 years. Everything in this build is 2 years old....but is being used as of 2 weeks ago. The only thing that is new...is the 2x4 memory chips i put in that was about a month ago. I had an issue with the cpu backplate for the cooler, which corsair finally corrected. Oh i forgot to mention...i have 2 hdd (2TB,500GB...both WD) 1ssd (240GB, SanDisk).

I'll check and see. But if my memory serves me well....the temp for my cpu with cpu cooler read at 134° F/ 56~57° C. Mobo temp was at 86°F. But, i'll check again.
