Hello everyone.

I am planning to build my first ever PC soon not only because I got tired of gaming on my laptop, but mainly because I want to start a new hobby (not gaming. The 'building' part.)

I've made a list of all parts and hardware I'll be using here:
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/MrtjXH

Because this is my first build, I'd like to hear any suggestions as to what parts i could use instead of the ones in my list to increase performance and/or save money. I want the price to stay around $900 however and I will definitely not spend more than $1000.

I plan on using it mainly for gaming. But I also don't really care if the game settings aren't maxed out. I just want to run games like GTA V, Skyrim, FarCry4 with more than 40-50 fps AND be a bit future proofed.

I also wanna ask about the power supply, because any online apps suggest that my build will need 350-380 Watts. Is that normal? Because it seems a bit too low. Or do I also have to add the consumption of the monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers? If someone could help me with choosing a PSU, that would be great.

Thanks for clarifying that. I was worried I would get a PSU without enough power.
I looked up the rx480 and it looks like I'm better off with one of those. But I don't feel confident enough buying an AMD card. Mainly because I've never had anything else besides NVIDIA. I guess I'll have to give it a try.

BTW... I will start ordering parts and building the PC when this semester ends (August/September). Is there any website I can see about new hardware that might come out? Things that aren't listed on pcpartpicker.com yet (like the rx480)?

Well then I'm going to leave my list as it is and look for a better/cheaper GPU when I'm going to actually buy one.
Thanks for the help!
