Hi,

I have a Gigabyte z97x Gaming 5 motherboard and am updating to the current Bios.

When I try to copy the BIOS files to my usb drive, windows 8.1 states that the properties of autoexec.bat cannot be copied. I can still continue with the copy, but I will be missing the properties.

So I need to know if these properties are important , if I can continue with the copy OR is there another way to copy them?

Thanks.

Solution
Properties on autoexec.bat are pretty useless. Reality is, autoexec.bat is nothing more than a simple text file that contains some old MS-DOS commands that normally result in some program being run. So let it copy without the properties, and you will still be ok.

Ok I just noticed that the properties on both efiflash and z97x6g5.f7 also will not copy. Will this matter?
