I have the AMD FX-4300, which is not a GREAT streaming processor. I initially had the Radeon R7 240, and could stream through OBS just fine, without dropping frames, and with no issues. I recently upgraded to the Nvidia GTX 960, and tried streaming today, and it's making my processor run at 100% on all four cores, and at a temp of around 55 Celcius, according to Rainmeter. I need help fixing this, because I definitely don't want to burn up my processor. I tried dropping the bitrate to 2000, and switching to NVENC to enforce the encoding through the GPU instead of the CPU, and it was still running at a constant 100%. I'm not sure what's going on, and the only hardware that's changed is the GPU.
