Hello,

I'm interested in upgrading my system's graphics card. my main usage is architecture-related software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, Adobe CC and Revit.
My budget is around 350$ and I was looking into Radeon R9 390 and GeForce GTX 970.
I know that Radeon R9 390 is equipped with twice the memory (8GB) in comparison to the other card but that's as far as my knowledge in graphic cards go.
I would be happy to hear any advice/opinion regarding which is better for my purposes, how to choose between different manufacturers/version of the card, etc.
My current configuration is Intel i7 3770, Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H, 16GB, PNY Quardo 600, Samsung 840 Series SSD, FSP Aurum 600W. 2 monitors are connected via HDMI.

Thank you!

If you are going to upgrade i would suggest an Quadro because your main purpose is as you said "architecture-related" but i dont know if you can afford a Quadro as they are pretty expensive. Take a look at the benchmarks http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-970-vs-AMD-R9-390/2577vs3481 keep in mind that these cards doesnt have 2 HDMI ports.
