Hi, I borrowed my friend's hard disk(WD Elements 1TB) to copy some movies and other stuff, but it doesn't display in Windows( Device Manager detects it and says its working fine, the "eject" option shows up too)

I went to Disk Management and checked there too. The drive is shown, but all the right click options are disabled, so I can't assign it a drive letter. It is a basic disk with a GPT record.
However, when I boot Ubuntu, it displays the drive just fine and I can copy files to and fro(with the exception of some, which say permission denied).

How should I access the files? Thanks
