AMD Warranty/CPU Replacement

I recently purchased an AMD A8-7600 Kaveri APU from AMD. When I discovered that it was dead on arrival, I requested an RMA for the processor and returned it. I received an e-mail notification telling me that they would notify me when my replacement was ready to be shipped (the dead processor passed inspection and was indeed dead). I received that e-mail about a week ago, however, and I still have not received a notification. Would someone mind telling me roughly how long AMD takes to ship a replacement?
 
Solution
Some times these guys are quite slow with returns, dead CPUs are rare so that may have slowed things up. Why didn't you exchange it at the store you bought it from, if it was DOA?
