We are a 3D render house and have recently switched from CPU based rendering to GPU based rendering engine.
I now have (3) Mac Pro paperweights, so I'm wondering, can I remove the Xeon CPUs and place them into a PC Motherboard?
I have a Mid 2012 - 3.2GHz 4 Core, a Mid 2010 - 3.33GHz 6 Core & a Early 2009 - 2x2.26GHz 4 Core.

Thanks for any insight!

I dont see why not, unless apple does something shady that locks them to a specific BIOS or motherboard which I wouldn't put past them. I tried looking it up quick and couldn't find anything. I cant say for sure but I would assume it would work in a pc.
