Hello guys! As title says I have a problem with my cpu, cause it's reaching 100°C during intel burn test and I really have no idea what to do now , the processor it's not even overclocked . I'm in desperate need for help! Thanks in advance
First, have you changed the thermal paste and properly adjusted the heatsink/cooler? And are you using the stock-cooler?
Yes i did these tests twice, with the pre applied thermal paste of intel and another time with my application of thermal paste. No difference and yes i'm using the stock cooler. I think i also put the cooler perfectly
The i7-4790k with the stock cooler will get up to 100C while doing the burn test:
(similar CPU, stock cooler) If your temps are fine during idle and rendering/gaming, you shouldn't worry, the burn test is a monster (along with newer Prime95) when you have a stock cooler (and some other coolers). If you want to get better results then, you need...

Oh alright that's kinda a relief then. I'm actually waiting for my cooler to arrive( i ordered it one day ago), so my temps problems will be over soon i hope. While gaming i got 81°C, is that normal too?
Good, you've ordered a new cooler, 81C while gaming is a little too much, not a good temperature, but not the absolute worst.
Could it be that i'm getting these temps cause of the vattage? How do I check that? Also what about the graphic card, what are some safe temps?
No, your power-supply wouldn't affect the temperatures you'\re getting (unless it's emitting heat, then you have a giant problem). What model/brand is your power-supply? Safe temps for me would be around 65C, not too hot to throttle or do much of anything, but it can vary from person to person.

Alright and no it's no emitting any heat, i'm using a vs650. My gpu temps are right there so it's okay then. May I ask you too how should I place the case fans?
Alright, it's a good power-supply. all fine with that. If your GPU temps are fine, then there's no need to change the positions of the case fans, but if you're installing new fans, I would label first to last by; side, top, bottom.

Well i'm actually undecided whatever to place the fan at the back of the case or at the side and should i put it so it does get air in the case or remove air from it?
If you have fans blowing in the case, I would make this an exhaust fan, make it remove air, better ventilation that way. I'd put it on the side, sounds like a better plan to me, but either way it would work.

Yeah I do have two of them to put air into the case. Should I put it on side even if the AIO will actually be placed on top?

No, then you should move it to the back, either position of the fan(s) work well, I was going with the one with more air going towards it.

okok fan at the back and the aio 's radiator pulling air inside or outside?

Ohhhhh, I totally forgot. No, the side would be the best, the radiator pushes out air (the fans do), the more hot air to leave the case the better.

Ok then the fan at the side and the radiator to push air outside the case gotcha. I'm going to add another fan I used some time ago that perform worse than the newer one at the back then

Alright, can always use more fans in a case (unless you're adding hundreds). Hopefully with that new cooler your PC will stay cool

Huge thanks for the help! I'm gonna pick your answer and in the meantime i'll wait for the cooler to arrive. If something bad happens, which I surely hope it won't be the case, i'll post again here
Alright No problem and I'll be here to help if you need anything.
Thank you! The cooler has just arrived but I have a small problem. While the cpu is really in a good state now, the gpu increased its temps by about 6 °C . I had to reverse the airflow since the cooler was not fitting in here and I placed it at the bottom from of the case while the I put 2 fans on the upper part and another one at the back, both of them are putting air into the case. There is another fan slot at the side of the case. Have you got any suggestion please?
Sorry for the late response, on a little vacation. It sounds like the fans are blocking out some of the airflow (which is what you want, them to exhale, not inhale). You've switched the fans around?
