I was wondering what I should buy. Should I get a gtx 1070 or two amd radeon rx 480?

That depends on your specs and budget of course.... the better of the two is clearly the 1070, but the RX 480 has a better price.

Wait for actual benchmarks. SLI/Crossfire is never the preferred solution for performance, because of all the miscellaneous issues that arise.
