Ok so recently I bought new RAM for my PC.

New ram - GoodRam Play 2x4GB 1600MHz DDR3 CL9 (GY1600D364L9S/4G) 1,5V
Previous ram - GoodRam 2x2GB 1333MHz DDR3 CL9 (GR1333D364L9/2G) 1,5V
MOBO - gigabyte g41mt-s2p

FROM GIGABYTE SITE

2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory
Dual channel memory architecture
Support for DDR3 1333(O.C.)1066/800 MHz memory modules

After changing my 2x2 memory to 2x4 PC wont boot. Everything inside works and sounds as usual while booting but there's no signal and PC turns off after 10-15 sec, then turns on again after 3-5 sec. Smashing delete button for BIOS gives me nothing.

I tried resetting CMOS by removing battery but it didn't help (I assume it was successful cuz later i entered BIOS with my old ram and date+time were waaay back ~2010)

I tried updating BIOS to newest version from Gigabyte site. Didn't work.

I tried putting both sticks separately in both slots. Still not working.

Any ideas on how to solve my problem? I got the package today. GoodRam gives life-time warranty and this Thursday I'm going to visit local PC shop to test this RAM in other PCs and test different RAM in my PC.

What mobo/CPU....Sounds like it may be a socket 775 or older AMD, if so it might well be wanting low density memory chip based DDR3 which isn't made anymore. Around the end of 2010 and start of 2011 DDR3 transitioned to sticks with high density memory chips. If this is the case look for GSkill NT Value DRAM which is made with low density memory chips

Mobo as previously mentioned - gigabyte g41mt-s2p
Cpu - Intel C2Q Q8300 with no OC

Sadly from what I see the ram you mentioned isn't available in my country so I'd have to buy it online.

So I got an update on the situation. Today I gave my ram to one of my local PC shops and they weren't able to turn on any of their PCs so I assume this was the source of the problem from the beginning. I'll just have to send it back and wait for new sticks.
