what's the cheapest PSU that has 4 x 6pin PCIe connectors?

as per title. need one, but as cheap as possible. going to run a crossfire but cards are only 120W or so (HD6870), so with an i5 CPU the total is likely 350W to 400W. but i can only find expensive 750W-plus PSU that give me the four 6pin connectors. and i'd rather not use adapters - they just feel wrong.

A 6pin connector has 3 hots, 2 grounds and 1 sensor. A 8pin (6+2) has 3 hots, 3 grounds and 2 sensors. It's the same. The 18 Guage wire used for a 6pin is the same as an 18 Guage used in a 6+2 or 8 pin. A 6pin will carry 150w, the difference being that without the extra sensor, the gpu detects the connection as a 6pin not an 8 pin and regulates it's draw to 75w. Simple enough to use a splitter and convert the 6+2 pin to 2x 6pin. It's the same wattage. 150w.

Use the 650. With older amd cards, spike draws were common and recommended power for xfire 6870s is 600w unless those 6870s are the OC Gigahertz editions in which case recommended psu is 700w.
The 6870 has a TDP of 150W and draws upto that. If it were 120, one 6-pin connector would have sufficed: http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/radeon-hd-6850-6870-review,10.html
Yours may be overclocked and draw even more.

Regardless, you can get a good PSU that has two 6+2 pin connectors. Having those connectors means it can deliver 150W through each(+75W from the PCIE slot will suffice). Then just connect one 6-pin to each card.

not into overclocking, and TechPowerUP reviews say that for actual game use, a 6870 is only around 120W.

so, hang on - i can skip the other 6pin socket on a graphics card??? i have an Antec TP3-650 which has dual 6+2 power pins, so if that would work then i'm golden!
