So I am having issues with my SSD and windows 10.
I took out my GPU cause it was covering the SATA ports. I reconnected all the SATA cables in order. Now my SSD is on port 3, my HDD is on port 4 and my optical is on port 5.
This did nothing for my problem of the SSD not appearing in the boot menu in the BIOS.
So I then removed every SATA cable from the SATA ports except the one for the SSD. The SSD was now showing in the boot menu in the BIOS but it still wouldn't boot into windows. It only boots into windows when I have all the devices connected with the SATA ports.
It's odd cause it's like it needs my HDD to boot into windows for some reason.
Of course I am still having the problems I had before. The HDD doesn't show in Windows where you can see all the drives. I believe it's called this pc or something. It's where you can see all the files like documents and pictures. The optical drive and SSD show up by the HDD does not.
Also I went into disk manager and I can't format any of the drives.
I am using windows 10 64 bit Home Edition.
My motherboard is a ASUS H170 Pro Gaming
