Intermittent freezing during games and buzzing noises after installation of new CPU?

I recently upgraded from an AMD Phenom X4 955 3.2Ghz to an FX 8350 X8 4.0Ghz. Since I have upgraded I've been getting regular crashing while in games, sometime it can take around 10-20 minutes and then everything just locks up, the screen freezes I can't tab out, mouse doesn't work and my keyboard LEDs turn off. Along with this whatever sound that is playing prior to the crash gets looped through my headphones as a repetitive buzzing noise. Forcing the computer off is the only way out.

My Specs:
AMD FX 8350 X8 4.0Ghz (No overclock)
Coolermaster 212 Evo (Installed new alongside the CPU)
8GB DDR3 RAM (2x4 mem tested with no errors)
1TB SATA HDD
XFX R9 390 8GB
Windows 10 N 64bit
EVGA 600w PSU
A960M-MV MOBO (BIOS up to date and supposedly compatible with processor)

I check the temps regularly. Processor tends to stay around 30-40 idle and 30-60 on load. GPU sticks to 35-45 idle and 35-60 on load.

This problem is becoming quite frustrating so I hope someone here can shed some light on the situation.

Solution
Hello... Yes they are B )... your problem is typical to a overheating component... as "Simple Test" remove cover from your case... check Temps and Fans/fins for dirt/lint... etc.
Can you post a pic of your BIO's health or CPU fan speed screen for me?

Thanks for your help! I was opening the case to have a look through at what was overly dusty when I noticed the RAM actually had quite a thick buildup of dust on it, took one 4GB stick out and tested...PC didn't turn on. Took another 4GB stick out and put the other back in... I can now play full games again without any crashing. Guess after a while of playing the game gets into the second stick of RAM and crashes due to it being corrupt/broken. Surprised this didn't show in memtest. Nonetheless thank you for your help Ironsounds!

The motherboard product page stated this asterisk on your CPU.

"means validated by ECS at time of writing. Changes to component or CPU may produce a different outcome. The result shown is for reference only and is subject to change w/o notification"

So it should work, but even the motherboard's manufacturer don't even guarantee that it will 100% work. I guess this is the issue. Even though you have fixed the issue, I think it's still wise to replace the motherboard.
