Is my overclock safe???

Hi!

This weekend I have added my custom watercooling loop inside my build. So I thought time for some OC!
first of all this is my build:
- motherboard: MSI Z170M (µATX)
- CPU: intel 6600k 3,5 GHZ --> 4,5GHZ OC
- GPU: Asus r9 390x DCU II
- memory: 2x8GB Hyperx Savage DDR4
- Custom waterloop from EKWB

My CPU OC is stable, I have tested it for hours without any crashes.
My GPU seems to be stable after doing 2 different benchmarks (no glitching or framedrops) multiple times and and for a long period of time.

- Firestrike: 12157 score
- Valley: 3206 score

I have a 10% performance gain and everything seems to be stable and the temps are also OK (max 62C during the benchmarks)
My only concern is to get everything working I had to bump up my core voltage to the max. Can this be an issue over time?

My data from MSI afterburner:
- Core Voltage: 0 --> 100
- Power Limit: 0 --> 50
- Core Clock: 1050 --> 119Mhz
- Memory Clock: 1500 --> 1700Mhz

This is the first time I have done an OC on my GPU so any advice would be welcome! ;)

I don't have a 390x, but I'd look around on the web for an overclock results thread to see how your's matches up and whether your settings are too high. But, generally, if heat isn't an issue, and everything is stable, then it's all good!

I'm not sure what MSI Afterburner has actually set as your core voltage value, but you want to make sure it isn't too high as that causes higher temperatures and could be unnecessary. What I would do now is begin to lower the core voltage and power limit bit by bit, and run a benchmark or stress test for about 20-30 minutes each time, until you find the lowest setting that keeps it stable. That way, you'll be maximising your OC and keeping everything cool.

thx for the reply!

I have done that but each time i lower my core voltage I get some glitches during my becnhmarks.

Would you advise me to lower my OC or do I just have to keep an eye my temperatures??
