Hello guys, 6 months ago I switch from Windows 8.1 to 10. Since then on 10 I can't download games on steam or use torrent with both internets connected at the same time. So let me be clear, when I had Windows 8.1 (I did not config anything) I was able to download games on steam or download torrents with both ISP I have, one was connected with ethernet another one with Wi-Fi I was surprised about that because I did not config anything so I can use both internets at the same time to download. So that happens only on steam and torrents, not from the web downloads.

So now I have Windows 10 and that thing doesn't work anymore, can somebody tell me how can I make it again if is possible, that will helps me alot.

Thank you and sorry for my english, isnt my native language.

Have a good one.
Cheers

No, I don't get any error message both internets works fine separately.
I have ADSL connected via Lan cable which is connected directly on Z97 Gigabyte motherboard and another ISP is Airmax Internet Services which I ussualy use it via Wireless with Wireless-N150 Asus wireless adapter.

So basicly when both internets are connected as you can see here on this pic: http://prntscr.com/bjkgjz only 1 works the Lan Cable connected one, so wireless looks connected but download for Wireless is disabled as you can see in this pic: http://prntscr.com/bjkhp1

So before when I had Windows 8.1 I had no problem with this, both internets was downloading at the same time on steam or torrents.

Sorry I didnt answer you here but look up I did on a new line!

The way it is working is the way it is suppose to work. I have no clue how you managed to get it to work on win8 but it should not have functioned the way you said it did.

This is not just a windows thing. All systems pick a "best" default route to send all traffic to. To use both connection you need to manually tell the pc what traffic you want to go where.

If you were to allow it to just randomly pick and send traffic over both like you said it did your IP address would appear to change to the web sites you are using. The sites assume a different IP is a different person so you get all kinds of problems.

-is this the driver version and date of the driver you have installed and currently activated? 2015/10/19
https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/PCEN10/HelpDesk_Download/

(this is a guess as to why it might stop, i can think of other reasons that might depend on router settings or how the network is setup)
disable the power management for the wireless device (set for high performance) some drivers, will go to low power and the signal will be reduced to 1/10 then the stupid driver does not wake up an go back to full strength. the distance that the signal on low power might be only 5 feet. (or i guess you could move your router next to your wireless device)

typically that problem would be a BIOS or wireless driver bug. (more common for windows 7 upgrades, window 8.1 should work, execept you might have the microsoft generic driver installed rather than the OEM specific driver.
for this case, windows is kind of stupid, you have to update the driver but do not let the system pick the driver, you have to pick the driver and the version in control panel. you bring up device manager, find the wireless device, right mouse click, select properties, select driver tab, select update driver. then here is the key part
select browse my computer for driver software, and then select let me pick for a list of device drivers on my computer

you should see a list of drivers , in my case I see 12 driver, 4 microsoft ones and 8 intel versions. Then I start to swear at the programmer because each driver is a differnet version but the user interface just list the driver over and over with no date or version number. you can blindly pick the driver, and check the version after it is installed. OR
you can use the PNPutility.exe to remove the old versions of the driver to make the list much smaller.

here is how to remove old drivers from the driver store: (pnputil.exe)
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc730875(v=ws.11).aspx

what happens if you do not do this? well, if you remove the driver via the user interface in device manager, the driver will be uninstalled. Then a second or two later the systems plug and play will kick in and try to help you by installing a driver.
problem is it will most likely just install the driver you just had rather than the new one you are about to install.
(you can have multiple netcards, with different driver versions if you wanted)

Okay I have the same driver you send me the link, I did everything to remove the drivers you said and there was none of them. So it's wierd how that thing works only once and only for 2minutes after that not anymore. :(

i think the wireless could get disabled if it connects to the same network as the wired ethernet.
ie both connecting to the same router.
your might power down your machine, and power it back up and start cmd.exe as an admin
then run
ipconfig.exe /all
to see the status of the adapters

you can get strange problems when you have loops in your network.
for example, a server can refuse to start when because it tries to see if a server with the same name is already on the network. It sends out a request to see if the name is in use. it goes out the wired connection, runs to the router, and if the router does not have access point isolation, the request goes from the wired side of the router to the wireless side of the router and back to your machine. Then the service does not start because it thinks there is a duplicate name on the network. (but the machine is just seeing itself thru a different interface)

I guess it is why I don't spend much time looking at network problems when I can not look at sniffer traces.
too many variables when you can not look for yourself.

the info for your wireless adapter shows that the ip address lease expired after 4 minutes.
try to find out why.

lease obtained june 25 2016 at 9:04:31 am
expires at 9:08.01 am

(3 mins 30 seconds)

Man I really dont know how to figure out that, can it be that with my ISP or with my network conf?

Thank you for trying to help me, I really do appreciate that sir.

well, it is a 10 base address scheme, I would think the lease time would be coming from the router that gives out the dhcp lease for your wireless link. I someone may have wanted 1 day and lease but selected the wrong field.

I am not sure why it did not renew (you might just have to reboot the router it the addressing scheme was changed)
