So today I got a new GPU, and went ahead and attempted to uninstall my old gpu drivers. under control panel and then into uninstall programs, i remember removing something called Nvidia Graphics Driver, but didnt touch a few other Nvidia things like 3D vision drivers and audio drivers as i didnt think those would be affected by my GPU. Btw im switching from a Nvdia gpu to another Nvidia gpu.

Anyway, I turned everything off, plugged new card in, turned on my system and then went for lunch as i figured it may take a while to turn on as its gotta recognise the change and fix somethings itself. So i came back to see a black screen on my monitor. It wasnt that the monitor was turned off though, its just black. So i restarted it and i saw my Mobo manufacturers logo at the start of the boot as i usually do and then it just went to the black screen.

So i tried different ports, different cables (vga, dvi) nothing worked. So i tried to boot my pc WITHOUT the new gpu, as my CPU has intel graphics, and i was gonna check to see if i didnt uninstall everything. However upon uninstalling the gpu and plugging monitor to my mobo i got the automatic repair loop where basically it keeps restarting every 20 seconds and then heading into automatic repair and then restart etc.

Then i tried to use my old gpu, and that had the same effect as the new one. Just a black screen, but still getting the mobo manufacturer at the beginning.

Solution
No idea how i close this thread guys, but i fixed it somehow. Eventually the old GPU booted and then i was able to just plug in the new gpu after and it worked... strange.
