When I boot my PC without a graphics card in it and use the integrated graphics card in my motherboard it works but when I installed my graphics card into my motherboard and turn my PC on it comes up with a black screen. I've tried two graphics cards and I get the same result and I tested both the graphics cards and they should both work. Any help on how to solve this is appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
Same problem same hardware vga r9 380 4gb and motherboard msi b85 g43 gaming

Need an answer for this too
[Solved] by changing boot setting - integrated graphic configuration - initiate graphic adapter to "IGD" now i can boot, and install the driver.

Ps: Do this before plugin external video card

The graphics cards are a Gigabyte Radeon 7870 and a Asus R9 380X. The PSU is an Antec HCG 620W

I plugged it into both and still the same result. No signal on my monitor. This only happens when my GPU is plugged into my motherboard though.

It does with the 7870 but not with the 380X. Apparently it's a feature of the 380X that it doesn't start spinning until it's above 60°C.

I've been trying to find a way to do that but I can't find the option in my bios. Any idea of where to find it in BIOS?
