I currently have and AMD Radeon 7750 that supports 6 monitors using 6 mini display dongles. However, when I run the Windows Experience Index , it only rates a 7.4, and I am interested in rating the highest (7.9).
I would like to upgrade to a better card that supports more than 4 monitors and can rate 7.9 on the Windows Experience Index. Please advise. My budget is around $500. If there are good choices, please let me know the differences, for example, does it make a difference in performance if the card has its own separate power supply? Thank you.

the only other one i know of is an Nvidia NVS400-series (or NVS300-series, can't recall), but those are more for business users so the engine might not be all that fantastic.

really, the WEI is a dead thing, it's been abandoned years ago. and newegg.com has a search function where on the left you can look for cards based on number and types of outputs. see what's out there.

Yes, the VisionTek 7750 card. How can I compare the benchmarks of the 7750 with the suggested 7870 before purchasing it?

Thanks for that link. May you recommend any other similar card to the radeon 7870 with more than 4 mini dp's that I can compare it to besides the radeon 7750?
