Hello all,

I've recently just built a PC for a friend and I've been completely stumped on this Windows error when trying to install Windows 7.

The error reads

"Load Driver

A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB Flash drive please insert it now.

Note: If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step."

I am using a Bootable USB drive for this windows installation.

I've tried everything I can think of and pretty much anything I could find online such as:

Not using USB 3 port.
Going to error and then going back to welcome screen and switching USB ports.
Going to error and then turning off PC and switching USB ports.
Going to error and then Plugging in another Windows 7 installation USB
Using a different installation USB completely.
Changing legacy USB to Auto
Switched SATA ports on Mobo.

Any and all help is much appreciated thanks.

I haven't, didn't think they had a special way to have windows 7 installed. I do have the Windows 7 installation option enabled in BIOS. But I will go double check their website for any useful info.
