and I want to upgrade my ram to 8 gg

please clearly guide me if I buy 2 single 4gig ram ( total 8 gig ) , then can my computer detect it's dual channel or not ?
if they are same model and brand ?

or I must to buy 2 4gig dual channel pack ?

is g skill aegis good for this ?
please guide me
thank you

Solution
If you are buying from scratch buy a 2x4gb kit together, however if you already have 4gb you can **probably** get them to work with the 4gb kit you have. Try to find same timings and speed ram, may have to make some small bios adjustments to get mismatched sticks to work together

hello
another question
do you think is 1 single 8 gig is good or I buy 2 single 4 gig
because some person told me if you buy 2 piece single 4 gig ( same brand model ) is better to buy 1 single 8 gig
is this correct or not ? thank you

False statement.

1: whatever the brand or the model from the brand, you can use any brand if it is compatible with your build.
(Exemple : Im using 1x Crucial Ballistix Sport 4 Go DDR3 1600 MHz CL9 and 1x G.Skill RL Series RipJaws 4 Go DDR3 1600 MHz ... and i have no issue on my computer )

But Sellers sell them in packs so the buyer know what he have. so if you feel more confident in having 2x4gb of the same brand, go for it :)

2: Because of dual channel, it is always better to use 2 slots instead of 1 for multiple reason : Read/Write Speed and accessibility on ram.

3: Would go with kingston or Crucial, G.skill is 'ok' got issue with them recently that's just my personnal point of view.
