Hello,
I recently bought a Gtx 960 for my pc (had the integrated graphics part of the Amd A10 7850K working before that) and yes did turn it off in bios (gpu boot) + updated all the drivers. As i was expecting a huge boost in cs:go that unfortunately didn't happen, on 1920*1080 low quality i'm barely hitting 180fps on a matchmaking match, while the rest of the world hits around 250-300fps on high settings with similar rigs. On a youtube video i saw a guy hit 100fps in 4K resolution with the same CPU and GPU.

I did all the research i could (forums, videos and guides) did turn the max performance in the Nvidia settings (same for the windows power consumption). But nothing seems to work.

My rig is composed of the following parts:
Amd A10 7850K
Asus A88XM-A
Gigabyte Gtx 960 4gb oc
Kingston HyperX Savage 16GB (2400mhz)
Cooler master 650watt (bronze).

I would sincerely appreciate if any one could help me.
With kind regards,

A desperate guy.

Solution
First Do not give fals informations about how much fps is needet in csgo bc im Supreme player i can make the diference betwen 150 180 and 220 or more fps in 60Hz monitor (to many childrens around think they are smart).
Bro i have same f**** PC playing on 1152 resolution with average 140 fps and dont matter if is FHD or lower.
Other thing is CSGO is a very very old Engine (source1). Your and my only solution is to wait MAYBE Source2 or switch to a other MOBO & CPU with same GPU.

Thank you for your quick response, wel i do admit that my cpu "suck's" but how come that other people with the same cpu hit 100fps in 4K resolution ?
I'm getting 60fps on the Witcher 3 (full hd) but can't hit anything decent in a low graphics demanding game like cs:go.

Should i replace my cpu ? If so can i keep the motherboard ? Or one should be replaced with the other ?

This makes me cringe so hard...
First off what is 300FPS for? Explain?
Secondly... MANY MANY cards have power savings and know when they pushing out enough FPS that it doesn't benefit. so it stays at 90-160FPS range. (so your modern GTX card is working good and doing its job!)
A10-7850K is pretty powerful APU graphics itself for CSGO

Any game a good playable rate is 60-80FPS (to be consistent)

144Hz Monitor which is $220+ usually some are $800 (you need 140-160FPS to be consistent with the monitor)

I have an a10 7860k and just installed a gtx 1060 and am sitting at 120-140 Fps csgo. I'm happy with the 100 fps boost for now. It's all in the cpu. If we had i5 or thereabouts it'd be 250 +. But for a cheap processor the AMD does a good job, itll always be behind Intel in gaming.
