Are you pulling our legs? Remove the extra stand-offs from the VGA connector and it will properly connect to the adapter.

I tried using pliers on it.. Didnt make any difference

Then you mist have them cranked on very tightly. From the VGA port knobs, it looks like you used pliers on them. Finger tight should be tight enough once you sort this out.

It just wasn't his day was it? He also broke his graphics car by yanking it out of the slot without unlocking it.

There are some folks who shouldn't be allowed near a PC case.
