Specs:
Intel i7 6700k
Asus Maximus Viii Formula
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32gb (4x8GB)
GTX 980 TI
Corsair H100i V2

I've checked the cords to see if they are plugged in properly. I've hit the CMOS button while powered off. But im not sure what the issue is. This is my first build and when I turn it on I get error code 99 stating that it's super io initialization. Any thoughts? Thanks.

1| You didn't state the model for your rams.
2| You also forgot to include your PSU.
3| Have you made sure your BIOS is flashed to the latest available?
4| Have a read through this thread. If you're under warranty, RMA it asap. A couple of users here have expressed the same issue and apparently finding DOA boards outside of Asus(MSI, Gigabyte) are a little too common with the Skylake platform.

Hi Fauska :)

Qcode 99 is Super IO Initialization and IO meaning anything connected to the MB by any interface is not initializing.
As you have just built the system, then it is saying a device is not connected properly Or there is a lack of power to a device causing the IO error.

Very often improper contacts or cabling or incorrectly seated GPU, 8pin or 24pin connection or DIMMs.
