Should I purchase a seperate streaming pc?

i want to start streaming so i want the community's opinion on whether or not it would be beneficial to have a separate pc. Money isn't a problem ( not trying to sound like an ass

It shoudln't hurt to try out streaming - you have your computer, why not stream and see how it goes? I don't see how it could be poor, you have a very powerful CPU. No need for a second PC hooked up to a capture card.

If you are using software that can use the GPU's to encode video it will help quite a bit. Seeing as you have 4 980Ti's and SLI scaling tends to suck after 2 GPUs it probably wouldn't slow down game play much at all.

You should try OBS https://obsproject.com/ it supports Intel Quick Sync and Nvidia NVENC so it could prove quite useful.
