i have a asrock 960 gc gs i believe with a fx6300 and a r9 270x i have 12gb of ram and a 1,000 watt psu i play a game called rust and i used to get 60 fps stable but recently i reinstalled windows and i noticed my fps droped and y system became very unstable i have checked all the drivers and updated im using no betas,i have downloaded from the manufacturer website ive reset the bios and checked that im not using or crossfiring my built in gpy with my r9 270x idk whats wrong or could be wrong yesterday i dusted the inside i reseated the gpu and removed the cpu and cleaned and re-gelled with the thermal compund i even put in a new cpu fan with a thick copper heat sink and big fan and i start up rust and the same shit the fps jump up and down very unstable. i can have anything from 13,20,40,44,34,70,65,80 fps idk wdf the problem is. i am thinking that the mobo is the problem or could be bottle necking me.i forgot to mention i also have a SSD 240 gb kingston SSd.i also even checked the temps the gpu peeks at 45-49C the mobo and ram and ssd stay at like 30C and the cpu also dosent go past 40-50C i have had this asrock for 4 years now and i thinks that its dying on me causing slow performance. please help me with some tips on what to try i even went into the bios and turned off the cool n quit bs and other power bs settings al thou i did go into windows and, i forgot to mention i have win 7 64 bit. please help me i am dying to figure out what wrong i even turned completely off almost all the graphics settings in rust and same bs frames. help me to figure this out or what new mobo to buy in the 80$ range. thank you excuse my spelling i hated english when i was in school but i love america i just dont like teachers .any ways help on! also when i go into windows 7 power settings i click on high performance and the buttong goes back to the balance power setting on its own.

Did you check Advanced Power options on your Power saving plan in Windows ? There should be "Processor Power management" and in it "Maximum processor state "
