I building my first gaming pc and i have been doing some research on the best DDR3 1600 Ram, right now I'm thinking about rolling with the Corsair Vengeance Pro but im really liking the Kingston Fury X. Problem lies where i was just doing some digging on the spec from Kingstons web site on the spec of their Fury X. And after reading their "XMP Support & Chipset Compatibility" page, which here is the link: http://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/certifications

So after reading this and looking at every list on the side for compatible motherboards, I do not see on any of the MSI sections the 970, so can some one help me out and let me know if this will work or not, maybe I'm just not reading some then right.

I would like a solution, but we can leave this option open for discussion. I dont just always roll with what PCpartpicker.com says, I use it to line things up then i start digging around and checking specs and matching up everything my self. So I could just be over thinking this whole thing.

The Dimms you listed are not on the QVL tested list that I provided. So they may or may not work.

These are rated at 2133MHz and tested. DIMMs are KHX21C11T1BK2/16X or KHX2133C11D3T1K2/16GX if you can get them.

You do have other choices. GSkill have a range to suit that I can recommend should the Kingston DIMMs be hard to source and are excellent.
if it's DDR3, It's compatible all right, XMP is largely Intel standard for automatic settings to some profile but everything can be set manually anyway if BIOS doesn't support XMP. If you are using FX processor it may be better to get 1866 MHz RAM. Kingston has very good record with compatibility with AMD platform.

The Fury are compatible and XMP doesn't play in - the Fury don't use XMP profile, they are PnP based. Will want Win up to date and also have the latest mobo BIOS
