Hi People

Is the Asus Rampage V Edition 10 compatible with Haswell-E processors? I have a intel i7 5930K and wondered if this would be compatible, I'm guessing that since this MB is socket 2011-V3 and so is the processor, that it is compatible, but thought I'd ask.

Many Thanks

Seems complicated, right ? And no, you can fill all the 8 DIMM slots with memory sticks, such as 16GB configuration (8x2GB), 32GB configuration (8x4GB), and overkill 64GB configuration (8x8GB). All of those combination works perfectly at desired DDR4 clocks, even if you are overclocked it.

Hey Thanks man, This is what I was trying to find. Thanks alot. Also do you know if all 8 DIMMS are filled with 8GB RAM will this run DDR4 RAM in quad channel? or is DDR4 RAM only quad channel when DIMMs 1 3 5 and 7 are occupied?

Yes, it supports up to 128GB of memory with 8 DIMM slots filled with memory sticks in Quad-Channel mode. most of gaming motherboard supports Quad-channel memory with 8 DIMM slots, each two slots supports shared memory in quad channel mode.

hey thanks, sorry to be a pain but what do you mean by "each two slots supports shared memory in quad channel mode"?

I want to fill all at DIMM slots with 8GB RAM, (8 x 8GB) I know this seems like overkill but i don't just game, its also for heavy 3D work, so is the quad channel ram shared? or is each 8GB stick running in quad channel? OR is it only shared when slots 1 3 5 and 7 are filled?
