Hello all,

I'm getting low FPS even with graphics set on normal in CS:GO and Battlefield 4.
I got a 1080 so normally it must run those games on Ultra (that's what the sellers told me).
I'm a noob in this kind of things but I got the feeling that my PC uses something else then my 1080.
Can someone help please? :??:

Here are the specs of my PC:
Intel i7 6700K 4-Core (8 threads) 4.0Ghz (turbo: 4.2Ghz) Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X 2TB HDD 16GB DDR4 DVDRW
- Windows 10 Home ESD licence (digital licence without CD)
- 2TB SATA3 DT01ACA200 7200 64mb HDD from Toshiba
- 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD
- PCI Express TP-Link TL-WDN4800 (450MBit) WiFi card
- 16GB DDR4
- Coolermaster G750M 750 watt modular
- Coolermaster Hyper 103 CPU cooler

Thanks for the fast reply,

indeed my monitor is plugged into my motherboard.
But the problem is that, when I plug my HDMI cable from my TV to my PC in the 1080 it doesn't work...
(Yeah, the builders from where I bought the PC did complete mess).

Yeah, but haven't tried it yet because I need the cable for it. I'll try this evening.
Thanks for the help!

Yeah, has nobody else noticed?
Jason you said 'indeed my monitor is plugged into my motherboard.'

If you have your monitor plugged into your motherboard then of course you will be using your integrated graphics, and not your dedicated GTX 1080. Which will result in bad fps.

Thats probably why your TV doesn't work, maybe you were trying to plug your TV into the 1080s HDMI port, while having your monitor connected to your motherboard.
Because I don't think you can use your IGPU and your dedicated GPU at the same time, and as you had the main monitor plugged into the motherboard, its probably is using the IGPU first, if you get what I'm trying to say.

Plug your monitor into your GTX 1080, and not your motherboard, then you will see the performance you should be getting.

Hi again,

yesterday I bought a cable from DVI to HDMI and that worked perfectly with the 1080. Now I run Battlefield 4 in Ultra with 60 fps (60Hz monitor). But it's weird because from HDMI to HDMI didn't worked.
But now it's good so I'm okay with that :D
Thanks for your help!
