How are you going to connect it? My mainboard has a decent sound chip but no optical out. I bought a sound card that does so I could connect it to my reciever. I purchased a sound blaster z and it does the trick.

Your not exactly sporting a high end Amp there, the sound quality is going to be limited as it is fairly low quality and low Wattage 2.1 setup. This is a 4ohm amp pushing 8 ohm speakers so the Amp itself has to work harder to achieve a nominal Volume and lacks a Toslink or S/PDIF connector.

For the best experience pick a amp with a S/PDIF connector, it doesn't have to be extremely high end and a sound card that supports it. A Sound Blaster Z or Asus Strix Soar are a good pick but cheaper ones will do as well as making a custom cable like so.
