Best CPU for movie playback!!

Hello everyone,

This is my specs-

i) intel Core i7 4790K
ii) Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H
iii) Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (8x1) DDR3 1600 MHz
iv) Corsair VS650
v) Cooler Master Elite 311 Cabinet
vi) CircleCT Led Case Fans 120mm x3
vii) GAINWARD GeForce GT 640 2 GB DDR3

So my question is that is my system capable enough to play movies ulta smoothly?

If no then is there something I could improve?

yes it will play moves just fine. so would a cheap amd APU. playing movies are not demanding of a computer at all. a $300 computer could play back 4k moves no issues. as they are not doing any real work besides reading disk/drive and then displaying on screen. a computer from 7 years ago can play back videos just fine.
