Hello everyone I'm trying to overclock my G3258 with an B85 Gigabyte mobo, and I'm just wondering what is CPU PLL? what does it do?

CPU - G3258
MOBO - GA-B85M-DS3H-A

Solution
It helps stabilize the CPU when OCing via the BCLK. PLL (stands for Phase locked loop), Intel states the max is 1.98, I seldom OC via BCLK but would try and keep things to 1.9 or lower. OCing via BCLK OCs most every thing since it's the mobos base clock and cause heat increases (increasing the PLL also increases heat)
