2nd HDD showing up on bios but not windows?!

Hey guys, i just recently purchased a 500gb seagate HDD and i plugged it in and it shows up in the bios but not on my windows... how can i fix this?

I tried replugging everything in and changing the sata port but nothing...

Does it appear in Disk Management?
Yes it does
Right click on that space - Initialize. Then follow whatever else it says to do.

USAFRet is right. You need to initialize -> partition and format there.
