Hello , my pc was doing fine and i was running most of the games at high / ultra 2 weeks ago , for some reason now it gets high temperature(65-75) and fps drops while gaming , i cleaned my case perfectly and re applied my thermal paste and nothing changed at all , do u guys think its a hardware problem or just a virus ? and im aware of the fact that my cooler is not enough for my pc will replacing change anything ?

here is my specs :

AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor

M5A99X EVO R2.0

ASUS R9 280 Series

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (4x4GB) 1866MHz CL9 DDR3

Titan Amanda as cpu cooler

still rocking the windows 7

Hwinfo64 while nothing is running : http://imgur.com/9v4HWE3

Solution
Replace the coolemater , it's useless & insubstantial - the max chip it supports is an old phenom 2 65w dual core
Your 8350 runs twice as hot.

It's an easy swap back to your stock amd cooler which while noisier cools 5x better.

That Titan doesn't use a custom backplate for amd fittings , it clips to the board using standard spring clips

Should take you 2 minutes to swap back.

Everything was fine before with the stock cooler. But are the ambient temps in your room higher now that they were before? What is the average room temp when you game now?
Btw, try watching thermal margins instead of temps. Use AoD to see what the termal margins is when the CPU is at max load. http://www.amd.com/en-us/innovations/software-technologies/technologies-gaming/over-drive
While watching thermal margins during the time you run a load test on the CPU, you can also see if it is throttling.

At load (the only one that matters), your CPU is in the single digits for thermal margin. That means you have less than 10C before it either shuts down or throttles its speed to cool itself. I suspect that is exactly what is happening during gaming now. So... yes, I would say you have a temp issue that needs addressing.

Btw... I thought you were using the stock cooler. I must have missed the Titan you listed above. Since you are using a small but somewhat decent after-market air cooler and still get those temps, I would first look at the possibility that the cooler's mounting has come loose. Or that the fans are not spinning at the proper RPM.
What is the wattage rating for that cooler? Is your 125W CPU too much for it?

It will be an easy check for a virus if you suspect that. Update your virus pgm and signatures, then run a FULL scan. Do the same for Malware with https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Did you have to remove the AMD retention bracket to install that Titan cooler?
And what is that add-in card shown with the cooler?

Honestly , i got the titan from my friend's old computer as i said just to get rid of stock cooler because it was making so much noise i dont have any installed drivers for it and its pretty old so mount getting loose is a possiblty .. even so i just got the thermal paste changed and the pc store worker that changed it didnt say anything about it so do u think he was just doing his job and not really caring about it ? malware and nod 32 scan was clean , is there a better virus prog. for that ? i'm using titan's bracket , for 2-3 years now btw

Hello , thanks for ur reply i was thinking abou that too but do u think just changing the cooler will solve all the problem ? as i said i was getting high temps before but never got fps drops .. this is new to me i was thinking of sending my graphic card to service

thank you so much ! i installed the stock fan and get a new windows 10 with all new drivers .. i can play all the games at high again , if u dont mind me asking do u know any software i can use to monitor my temp's ? i wanna be aware of it until i get a new fan

the most accurate & fully featured way is to use msi afterburner,hwinfo64 & rivatuner osd - it requires a lot of setting up to use properly though.

cam is an easy option, will give you an osd ingame with gpu/cpu usage & temps while playing full screen games & requires very little setting up
