I currently have integrated AMD Radeon HD 8470d integrated graphics on my PC, is there anyway to bypass this card and install an independent card, preferably install and use a MSI Radeon R7 360?

Solution
Yes of course, the 8470d is integrated into your processor. As long as your system supports a GPU (your motherboard has an open PCIe slot, a standard power supply with enough power, and the case has adequate room) you should be able to easily install it. And then you plug your monitor into GPU instead of your motherboard.

^^^^^ spot on... I bought a R7 360 for mine but when I got home realised I didn't have the 6 pin power supply connector so swapped it for a gtx750ti which only needs the pci-e slot
