I am looking into buying a new PC for gaming, video editing, C++ coding, and school work. My game library includes Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, Minecraft, Overwatch, BeamNG.drive, Grand Theft Auto 5, Rocket League, and several indie titles. I edit HD 1080p video from my various mountain bike races. And I spend most of my computer time doing homework and coding.
I have decent knowledge in PCs and I have been doing research for the past week on what should I buy. I would build my own system, but I would love to build my own case for that and do custom water cooling, something out of my budget for now. So I have found these two systems on Amazon. They fit my budget and my needs but one of them is obviously more powerful, but the other one is way more portable, power efficient, and will make less heat. Here are the links to them: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EJ7ZQFS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A89QP6D3VDW1W

For the SkyTech one, I plan on adding a second 8GB DIMM to make it dual channel and having a whopping 16GB. And I am planning on also installing EVGA's GTX960 SC for better graphics performance. For the MSI one, I am planning on installing MSI's low profile GTX 750 TI to improve its graphics power.
With upgrades and everything, both of them end up at about the same price, with the SkyTech build being slightly more expensive.
I did some comparisons on UserBenchmark and here were the results:
Userbenchmark PC Build Comparison
SkyTech PC: Game 45%, Desk 48%, Work 32%
CPU: AMD A10-7870K APU $127
GPU: Nvidia GTX 960 $179
SSD: HyperX Fury 120GB $40
HDD: WD Black 1TB (2013) $72
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 1866 C10 2x8GB $41
Total: $459
MSI PC: Game 31%, Desk 62%, Work 31%
CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 $121
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750 Ti $100
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 128GB $92
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2015) $54
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 1600 C10 2x4GB $35
Total: $402
What are your guy's opinions on what I should go with and why? Thank you for spending time on my post.
