Hello
I'm considering a few VPN suppliers at the moment and yet to decide which one to go with. This is due to the fact the VPN conpanies cannot provide specific support for a new router I recently purchased. I understand the router (TP Link Archer v900) is compatible from what I can gather.
The VPN suppliers support pages for the TP Link router obviously caters for certain TP Link models (older ones) but the network pages on this specific router are somewhat different.
So as you can gather I am a tad lost as to what to do - dont really want to buy another new router really. I suppose i will have to press them more for support if they really want the custom!
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions of how this can be setup on the newer TP Link routers?
Many thanks for reading :)

Even if your VPN service does not have instructions for your exact model, as long as your router claims client support for VPN , the concept is the same. You need to know your username / password, protocol type, gateway address, and you will probably have to copy/paste couple of keys. Follow the instructions for other routers, match parameters names, and you should be OK.

Two notes:
1. Looking at the emulator for your router, I see only IPsec VPN support. Most VPN providers will give you PPTP, OpenVPN, make sure you're shopping right.
2. Once you enable client VPN on your router, your whole traffic will go thru that VPN service. Make sure that is what you want.
