Hey <3,
when I start my computer the screen doesn't turn on, it stays on orange. The Power Supply fan and the CPU fan are rotating and I get the normal sounds except the fans of my graphics card, they are trying to move every 3 sec, but they don't. I removed everything except the Power Supply and the CPU + fan and get a sound 3-4 per second which - told me on another website - that this is the normal behavior. Obviously the screen is completely black and the monitor shows orange. When I plug-in the RAM now, the screen stays black, orange monitor, no message, nothing. Bought new RAM, still the same. Tested monitor with my Playstation 3, it's working, turning green. Also removed the BIOS battery for a day, still the same. Keyboard is not light up. Any chance I'm missing something? <3

It worked before, I tripple checked, every cable is in it's place. But let's go back a step, it should get into the BIOS when everything is unplugged except CPU, Mainboard, PowerSupply, Am I right? <3

Don't forget RAM.

You need ram to get to POST to get to the BIOS.
If you've removed the GPU and reset the CMOS/BIOS by removing the battery but still get no display, then something other than the GPU is the problem.

I tried it with RAM and without. Without RAM, I get 3-4 sounds per second. Another website said the 3 components should be fine if that happens, but with RAM I can't get into the BIOS even by trying out with another RAM. Personally, I think 1 of the 3 components, PowerSupply, Mainboard or CPU must be the problem then.

I got 2 monitors, 2 cables. 1 DVI and 1 HDMI. They were both attached to the graphics card before. By removing both cables, I tried to plug in each of them into the Mainboard, single, both. Still the same <3

Sometimes I don't understand computers... I plugged in the RAM in the first slot, I could reset the BIOS settings with 1. Now I tried to plug in the 2nd one and it worked. I have no idea why. Tried to plug in the old RAM, also works. I don't know if Windows messed up with the BIOS settings somehow. Maybe by unplugging other cables I did something, seriously, my brain can't understand why it's working now, but thanks to give me the hint to try to plug in 1 RAM, I tried it with the old one, maybe before I reset the BIOS. Now it's working, thanks for saving my cave life! <3

Tried again, not working with 2 RAM's. Tried 10 time with 2 again, not working. Tried 1 time with the first slot and it's working again. And I'm back <3

Both seem to work on 1 slot, but when I add the 2nd one something is wrong. The sounds, the fans, everything looks the same, except the graphics card fans are not moving and I get a black screen, keyboard and mouse not light up. 1 time it even started with both slots filled. It seems if I try enough times, I can load the OS/BIOS into 2 attached RAM's, but the chances are pretty low. Maybe the Motherboard has a malfunction or something, sadly I don't have another here and can test it <3

It gets weirder. The computer is not even 2 years old, thus I couldn't even see 1 single dust particle. Now more testing reveals, sometimes even putting 1 RAM into 1 slot is not working. It seems the chances of getting a non-blackscreen and a lit mouse/keyboard is higher when unplug and plug in the RAM like an old Nintendo or Sega. The computer also started with 2 RAM's with the same method more easily. After the boot, everything seems fine and is working (no sudden blackscreen or something)

I could reduce the issue. It's not the RAM, it's probably the power supply not giving enough power, a broken motherboard or maybe the power button is broken. <3
