My current pc: i5 650 3.2 ghz (2 cores, 4 threads), amd 7870 ghz, 6 gb ram.
Budget: 350 euros
My problem is the following: i replaced my old 5770 3 years ago and the whole pc has been running for about 7 years, but now my hard drive disk is about to die and I dont know what to do with my current budget. Also I have problems with my cpu temperature. (Im gonna keep my 7870 by the moment and maybe get another one for a crossfire).
My thoughts were upgrading to skylake ( i5 6600k) with a new motherboard and 8gb DDR4 ram. The other option is to spend all my money on a new monitor (because i've always played at 1366x768) and getting a new full hd one, and on a good water cooler to overclock my old i5-650 as far as i can until i save some money to upgrade both cpu and gpu at the end of the year (maybe with amd zen?).
