Yesterday my new gtx 970 arrived and I tried to install it in my computer. When I installed it, it would show a black screen whenever the HDMI or DVI cables were connected to the GPU, however when the HDMI is connected to the onboard graphics then the monitor will pick up a signal. Ive been looking everywhere for a fix, and currently im talking to EVGA, however there isnt anything wrong with trying to pick up any additional solutions.
Note* The computer does boot up and everything works fine inside, its just the no signal problem that i am having
What I have tried so far:
* Checking the cables are well and are connected well enough
* Trying to update bios (there is no bios updates available for my motherboard)
* Checking if the Initial Graphics Driver is set to PCI-E (which it is)
*Removing the CMOS battery for a couple minutes
*Downloading the drivers (no hardware detected)

These are the common solutions I hear in other forums that have NOT worked for me. If anyone has any idea of what to do help will be greatly appreciated!
