I have my Samung Galaxy J3 (2016) and I only installed 1.76GB worth of applications. Theoritually I should have around 2GB left right? No, Samsung's Smart Manager says I have about 400MB left. When I go to check what the heck is have, it shows memail 1GB of Music (which was and still is in my SD Card) and 1.7GB of Photos and Vidoes (which was and stI'll is in my SD CaRd aswell). When I tried to find what was taking space using My Files in the INTERNAL storage, only thing I found eating up space was my application data, which trugly was 1,76GB, and nothing else.

Can somebody please explain to me what's happening?

I find that Samsung's smart manager hides some setting files to make it run faster. that and every-drive I've had is AROUND what it says. so you may have got one with less then it's should. I'd ethier get another and hope or get a better one.

Hey Steve, have exactly the same problem with the J3. I've moved all pics and videos to the SD card and even removed it - even though the phone says zero images and videos with 0MB - the internal storage shows the same percentage before I moved everything. Any help would be great. Regards L
