logitech Z506 vs Z906 quality?

I'm looking for a powerful surround sound setup for my PC. I will be using it for gaming and other projects. I can't decide if the logitech z906 is really worth the extra cost vs the z506. I understand more wattage equals higher ranges in volume but I want to know if it has better sound quality too? I'm not adept at choosing speakers and I normally use earbuds after only having a laptop for a couple of years, but now I finally have a desktop PC and I want to have speakers with the best sound quality. I have a 2 bedroom apartment and I use the second bedroom as my office.

The logitech Z906 is a 5.1 500watt system

The logitech Z506 is a 5.1 155watt system

It's actually 75W RMS.
I own the z506. And I can say I like them, but I have also listened to the Z906 and there is a huge difference. If you want premium quality go for the Z906.
The Z906 is also THX certified. For desktop I would get the 2.1 Logitech Z623.

Thank you for the input. I think I will go with the Z906. I'm looking for a powerful 5.1 or even 7.1 system for my desktop PC. I should have mentioned before... money is not an issue for this, I have a budget of $1100 just for the speakers. But if I don't have to spend all of it that would be preferable.
