Lines on screen, blue screen and failure to log in on a one and a half year old i5 4670k machine. It is also running windows 7.
Please tell me if there is a better category to post this in, I'm fairly new to this forum.
Hello everyone,
I'm running an i5 4670k machine with 6 gb of memory, a msi gd65z87 motherboard, asus r9 270 and a 128 gb crucial mx 100 SSD with a very old 2tb mass storage drive.
Today I was playing a game when suddenly my monitor went white and a looping noise was played. Upon restarting, I realised that lines were present on the screen along with other artifacts. This is presentin the bios and also on the login screen. I cannot login without getting a blue screen but I can login in safe mode. System restore does not fix the issue. I am not getting an error code on the motherboard (only AO which means that everything is working normally).
