Hello. I've been trying to solve this with Comcast support for over a week, to nobodys surprise it hasn't been solved.

I host a TeamSpeak server (among many others) on my PC, and since i've changed modems none of my ports would go through.

I have UPnP disabled, and DHCP disabled.

Devices:
Netgear AC3200 Nighthawk x6 (tri-band)
Xfinity-ARRIS DOCSIS 3.0 Residential Gateway? (it's the Xfinity Modem/Router combo)

Solution

You can attempt to put the Netgear in the DMZ of the Arris, but having two routers operating on your network makes it unnecessarily difficult or near impossible to properly forward ports.

You may not get forwarding to work without changing your network configuration.

Without more details, can only offer:

Port forward only on the Arris and configure the Netgear as an AP (DHCP disabled and LAN-to-LAN connection).

or

Configure the Arris for bridge mode (modem only, router disabled) and port forward only through the Netgear.
