power is alway a big issue in an RV. I have an MSI 760 gtx 4gb pushed by a seasonic 660 platinum. should i go with 1070gtx or 1080gtx. I have tripped the breaker with to 760 before. but from reviews they all basically under max stress use 200 watts even though rate at 150 and 180 watts.

If your 760 was tripping the breaker, a 1070 won't do much better. Why do you even need a good graphics card/gaming system in an RV anyways?

Im a full timer. I was considering 1070 due to lower power consumption. And Ive only tripped the breaker once in 2 years. but some reviews are saying the 1070 and 1080 both use up to 200watts. so if thats true not sure what to do. I want VR ultimately.

I have converted all lights in RV to LED for power consumption reasons. Im sure that will give me net savings. Maybe I should just get a powerful gaming laptop with a 1080. what do you think?
