Hello! (I'm sorry, you must be getting these threads a lot)

I'm planning on making my first build and here is what I plan on buying:

Motherboard: ASRock Z77
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 2x4Gb
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1Tb
Case: Corsair SPEC-02 ATX
Power supply: Corsair CP VS450

I have a CPU (Intel Core i3-3220) and a CPU Cooler from my PC that just died. (It was a HP Pavilion)

My old power supply still works, although I can't find the reference... it's 300W. Should I really change it?
My budget is currently under $450 so if it's not urgent, I'd rather wait to get a new one.

Thanks a lot and sorry for being a beginner in this. :)

wattage rating of the PSU is not really important.
IMHO, you should invest in a decent PSU that will serve you for this and next build.
PSU quality is really important since failing PSU can kill all other components in the system
Here two good PSUs to choose from:

And regarding the GPU, if you can wait a bit for the RX 460 /GTX 1050 release, you will get much more for the same price

Thank you for your advice!

For the GPU, I've already got a GT 620 but I've figured I should update it quick. The GTX 750 I found was at $109. Should I wait for the GTX 1050? :0

I can wait, as long as it'll be compatible with the motherboard. I'll just use my old GPU in the mean time.
Are all the other parts okay? Is there anything else that should be changed?
