Ok, I have 5 sata ports.
Anyways, I have 2 hard drives.
Now it will only recognise one. That is the one that is plugged in no matter which sata port I use.
If I place the other hard drive and connect it to another sata port it will not recognize it.

But if I swap the hard drives on the 1 sata cable it detects both hard drive.

I guess what I am saying is that it only detects 1 at a time.
There is no issue with both Sata cables or power supply.

Got me stuffed =/

Solution
Here is a link to flash your Bios should you wish to update:http://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSUI.asp?cat=BIOS8 follow the instructions carefully and you should be OK.
There are warnings and disclaimers regarding Bios flash. Just make sure you do not switch off your system till the flash is complete and you will be fine. The Bios will be set back to default after the update.

The thing is it worked before.
It worked for some time.

I cleaned out my computer with an air hose, and after that I had this issue
There is power on the second hard drive. There is a red light showing power

It may have worked before but a failing power supply can be the cause, if all cables and connections are good.
When listing the PSU please list the Manufacturer and certification.

If the PSU is determined to be suspect then it would be wise to have it tested as damage to your system could ensue.
Not saying this is 100% for sure but the PSU must be checked to eliminate that from the equation.

If the PSU is known to be good then do a CHKDSK on each of your drives. Whether it be on your PC or another. Try swapping out cables in case a cable or its connection are faulty.
So long as your Bios config is correct then there is no logical reason that Drives would not be recognized.
The only other possibility is your Bios, Clear your CMOS or flash the Bios to latest version for your MB.

It's conceivable you may be dealing with a defective HDD. It is ALWAYS good practice in situations like this to test the health of the drive presumably with the HDD diagnostic program that's frequently available from the disk's manufacturer. So do this without delay.

And you did use a different SATA data cable with the problem disk to rule out a defective data connector, right? And ditto for a SATA power connector?

And I take it you've pretty much ruled out the possibility of a defective motherboard's SATA port (connector) right?

Firstly thanks to MeanMachine, I will try your solution.

Yes, I had the other drive as the main drive and reinstalled windows on the second drive - which is now the main drive.
There is nothing wrong with either drive. They work fine when connected.
They just dont want to work at the same time.
I have tried putting the hard drive in every sata port and it works in each one. Just not two at the same time.
Got no idea =/
